It’s simple: our bodies are designed for movement. Muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments all prove it. When we stop moving, everything starts to feel tight, or even painful. That’s your body’s way of asking for what it needs.

This is why movement supports a healthy heart, promotes better blood flow, helps manage inflammation and regulate our entire system. When we combine movement with mindfulness and conscious breathing, something powerful happens: the nervous system rebalances, heart rate variability improves, and we feel calmer, more grounded, and more present.

I founded Golden Yoga because the typical yoga classes out there weren’t meeting the unique needs of most people over 60. Throughout life, our bodies change, and health issues can surface. That doesn’t mean we stop moving, it means we move smarter.

You can choose between Golden Chair and Golden Mat, based on how comfortable you feel coming down and up from the floor. Both classes respect the same movement principles and what’s at the core of the art of yoga: the mind~body connection.
